According to Fort Carson: A Tradition of Victory (page 59), a small book published in 1972 by the Public Affairs and Information Office, Fort Carson, Colo., a grave with a small stone marked "Owen" is located south of Teller Reservoir near the southern boundary of the military reservation. According to the book, the person died in 1923.
