The first service in the church, which is associated with the United Church of Christ, was held on Christmas Eve, 1960. Meditation Glen, the site of the columbarium, was dedicated August 3, 1961, and the columbarium was dedicated in 1974. The lovely glade behind the church includes grass, sidewalks, trees, stone walls, and a small pond.
